App like Dear Translate because Dear Translate doesnt work anymore

I used Dear Translate to translate screenshots made on my phone and photos but it doesnt work anymore. Which app is similar? Google Translate wasnt that good when it came to picture translating.

Reading the comments on the Play Store, it sounds like you might need a more up to date version, not currently available via the Play Store. Maybe this one?

It still works on my phone (a Xiaomi) as of right now. I initially downloaded it from the Xiaomi app store several years ago and update it through them. Last update was today.

Their last playstore update was in March 2019. Many people are giving 1 star because they can't use it anymore.

 

With my Samsung S10 and S9 that version doesn't work.

You can look at the developer's site, in Chinese. This seems to be the download page there for the app. I haven't downloaded and tested it, though.

this version works now. dont know why they're not updating the version in the Googl Play Store?!

Maybe the revised app has a problem getting Google Play clearance?

 

Or maybe it doesn't work with your version of Android. Etc.
