An Asian movie I watched more than 15 years ago and don't remember the title

Please guys, help me by giving me the title of a movie that is from the years 2000s (I guess).

Here is the story : 2 childhood friends choose separate paths and I think one became a criminal and the other one became a policeman.

They met after in life and they fell in love of the same girl and she decided to marry one of them (the criminal if I remember well).

The final scene was a huge fight where they fought to death and it was raining. I think it was the day of the marriage and they were fighting for the girl.

That fight was an ugly one. The criminal had the opportunity to shoot his friend or something like that but he didn't do it so they fought and it was ugly.

I am looking for that movie.

Please help me if you can ??????????

This is a lot older, but that sounds a lot like the John Woo flick...

English Title: A Better Tomorrow (1986),

in Chinese that's: 英雄本色

That's the first film I though of too! But there's no romantic rivalry or wedding scene in 英雄本色.

That makes 3 of us!  But I ruled it out for the same reasons.

Four.

However, OP’s description may not necessarily be a chinese film.

Sounds pretty Hongkongnese though. Although it could also be Korean.

Thanks a lot for your contribution.

I think it is not a better tomorrow because there is not the love triangle.

It might be Hongkongese or korean. That is why I said "Asian movie". I'll have a look on Chingu and revert back to you.

Once again : thank you !!!
