Hello friends, I am very beginner of mandarin. please help me.  

how to use was and were in mandarin? how will we translate these sentences in mandarin. 

I was here.   he was there.   they were rich.   we were happy.

There's no past tense in Mandarin, so there's no direct translation.

Where the context isn't already clear, you add words to indicate the specific time or time period.

 

9 点钟在这儿

昨天在那儿

他们当时已经很有钱

那段时间我们很开心
