Does anyone know a tool that adds Pinyin to the text on Chinese websites?

Can anyone recommend an online tool or application that can add Pinyin to Chinese characters as you browse the Web? I searched a bit but nothing came out. Has anybody heard of such a tool?

Zhongwen is a very popular extension for chrome that shows pinyin and definitions when you hover over the hanzi in the web page:

I use this every day and it's great.  It doesn't add pinyin to all the characters in the page, if that's what you're looking for.

Purple Culture includes a pinyin convertor in its set of Chinese Tools :

You have to select a section of the website you want converted (it doesn't do a whole web page at a time). Then go to the Purple Culture site and select Chinese Tools/Chinese to Pinyin Converter on the navigation bar at the top. The converter opens a browser tab for you to paste your selection. The results are a very neat conversion.

 

There's  also a Purple Culture app for Chrome (Google or the new Microsoft Edge) in the Chrome Web Store, it adds a Chinese tools link to the Context (right click) Menu

Select your text, right click, select: Chinese Tools/Convert to Pinyin/Zhuyin on the dropdown menu, and it opens a separate browser tab with the pinyin added to your selection.

 

ETA: The same page on the Google Chrome Web Store has several alternative apps at the bottom, including one that seems to convert whole web pages to pinyin. I haven't tried any of them, but you may want to check the reviews and have a try.

LiuChan Chinese Popup Dictionary.  An extension for chrome that allows you to mouse-over Chinese to instantly see the pinyin and definitions of characters and words.  Sometimes irritating because it will define characters like "a variant of (some other character)" without providing any more information.  Good, though.

Wow, that's a rather unfortunate typo they have in their Pinyin name... 流畅 liuchang fluent => 流产 liuchan miscarriage ?

I think that's just CC-CEDICT, the underlying dictionary dataset, which is used by all these tools.
