Zhaoxiang and Paizhao: take photograph

Thanks everyone. You been very helpful.

I got further questions:

1. What is the difference between these 3?: zhao pian, tu pian, tu xiang

2. When do I use the 3 above?

Posted

no, 攝 = 摄

I have never heard 撮影 being used orally, but google says it's japanese for photographing.

Sorry if I am double posting. I am not sure if there is a bug in this thread or the scanning thing is still in effect inside this thread. My messages are showing in other threads but not this one.

Here goes, testing:

1. What is the difference between these 3?: zhao pian, tu pian, tu xiang

2. When do I use the 3 above?

zhao pian: pictures taken with a camera, usually with people in them

tu pian: printed pictures of sceneries, objects, designs etc.

tu xiang: images on a screen
