Looks like two names of Buddhas - Shakyamuni 釋迦牟尼 and Amitabha 阿彌陀 though the first character of Shakyamuni looks a bit off - maybe a Japanese variant? - and the third one is 尊  something like "revered one" rather than the third character of his usual transliterated name, though shortened versions are common and there is a trinity called the 三尊 that Shakyamuni is part of: http://buddhaspace.org/dict/fk/data/%E4%B8%89%E5%B0%8A.html

Thank you, that's pretty much spot on for what I was told..I got them while working at a tattoo shop in Hawaii, and had been studying Buddhism for a few years
