Going through etymology of 且 qiě moreover, also(post-subject), about to, will soon(pre-verb)

且 depicts a sacrificial altar, indicating the original meaning “altar for sacrificial food (now written 俎).”

Can some one give the image of ancient altar famous at that time with the image?

how it gets transformed to moreover ? about to? Will soon?
