Does this mean never give up? Is it ok for a tattoo? If not please give me the correct translation and the pronunciation. Thank you

If I were to get the Chinese tattoo “In God we trust” what would I get?

永不放棄 is fine as a literal translation of "never give up". Translations of this exact phrase have been asked for a few times before, and one nice suggestion often given is 百折不撓, which is a bit more uniquely Chinese as an idiom but has the same meaning figuratively.

"In God we trust" 我們信仰上帝 is a super weird thing to get as a Chinese tattoo IMO, because it has a very specific cultural and political association with the US but no association at all with China. I mean your choice to modify your body how you see fit, but it's certainly not something I'd recommend. If you want something related to (guessing?) your Christian faith but really want it in Chinese, consider a quote from a favorite bible verse in one of the Chinese translations. You can find translations on Bible Gateway, e.g. Matthew 7:12.
