Have you guys seen this crazy video game inspired by 西游记???

Apparently there is a video game in development that draws heavily from 西游记, and the art style is absolutely gorgeous.

 

The game is called Black Myth: Wukong and you can see trailers here and here.

 

I for one can't wait to buy it.

I hate playing games like this, although I don't know why. I think I might have had a traumatic experience with Prince of Persia as a child. I enjoy watching them though, especially when they look this good.

 

At first I thought the fighting looked a little dry but once things pick up in the video it seems to come together nicely. I'll definitely think about buying this as a gift for someone if I can. Hopefully it comes out on steam.

Yeah, the first initial gameplay trailers hit YouTube this spring. Looks good enough - feels Soulsborne enough in style, but it does not seem too unforgiving, which might be a nice balance. Snow looks great in the Unreal 5 engine.

 

On the flipside, it won't be out until 2023, so it will be a long wait...
