Demonic_Duck Posted September 2, 2021 at 11:56 AM Report Share Posted September 2, 2021 at 11:56 AM Looks like you can customize OpenCC by providing your own dictionary: Quote 詞庫和函數庫完全分離,可以自由修改、導入、擴展。 So you could try processing a scraped version of the 《规范字与繁体字、异体字对照表》 such as this one on GitHub into the input format used by OpenCC, then customize the OpenCC config to use that. Or pay someone on a site like fiverr to do it, if you're willing to spend money (don't forget to tip your data wrangler ?). If you do that, you could even submit a pull request back to OpenCC to make the new dictionary available to everyone. Assuming the maintainers accept new dictionaries as contributions. Or just fork it yourself.

I'm basically clueless about what most terms you wrote actually mean (?) but will try to read a bit to understand!

NinKenDo Posted September 4, 2021 at 09:50 PM Report Share Posted September 4, 2021 at 09:50 PM Super curious about those flashcards as someone who takes the time to learn individual characters even when they can't be used on their own in modern standard written Chinese.
