Hey guys,

i want to use a phrase with "acting on someones behalf" like " I'm contacting you on behalf of my company.. but i'm not sure how to use it in chinese?

i thought i should use 代理 or 代表 ? Or 什么什么的名义 ?

Can i say 我代表我公司与您联系 ?
Or 以我的代理公司的名义与您联系 or 代表我的公司的名义与您联系

Can someone help? 哈哈 ?

❤️

I think 代理 would suggest you're from a third party appointed by the company rather than working for them so 代表 is better; my instinct would be to phrase it 我代表[company name]公司与您联系. Not a native speaker!

Not bad but more what you'd say if you were thanking them on behalf of the company etc. is my sense, i.e. on behalf as really representing everyone who works there which feels to me like a bigger thing than just getting in touch with them over a potential business relationship or similar, where I'd as likely say "Hi, I'm from X Company and we'd like to make widgets with you" if it was less formal.
