Intermediate to advance language learner tool: Kanshu

Hello 朋友们,

 

a friend of mine developed a tool to help intermediate to advance Chinese learners, and it’s  free. It's called Kanshu, it's a reading app for intermediate to advanced language learners where learners can read the Chinese language version of the books they like. The app uses algorithms to make reading Chinese simple: it divides the sentences, provides translation, examples and pronunciation, et cet.

any newcomer into the Chinese language learning market(?) are welcome especially lessen the pain of reading the Chinese text.

while idea of reading practice base upon the Chinese vernacular book are good ,but still there are rough edge.

for example site response is slow.

bookmark are not working so cannot make personal dictionary to review rater on.
popup dictionary show the frequency on the top where headword should be shown.
upload own text show Django error massage. so there are many place to be improve.
