Need more information. Where was the video shot? (If China, what part of China?) Perhaps post a link to the source of this image we can watch the actual video and see the context. The material from which rice noodles is made does come in blocks or thick sticks kind of like that in Yunnan. They are called "er kuai" 饵块. But they would be too tough and chewy to eat in that form, without first slicing them into thin pieces. Tofu also comes in thick sticks something like that in Yunnan, as do certain "blond sausages" (usually made from chicken.) Quote
大块头 Posted September 27, 2021 at 03:18 AM Report Posted September 27, 2021 at 03:18 AM Totally a guess, but maybe it's 面筋 (seitan)? 1 Quote
amytheorangutan Posted September 27, 2021 at 09:02 AM Report Posted September 27, 2021 at 09:02 AM looks like giant tteokbokki (rice cake) which would be Korean. The sauce looks like tteokbokki sauce and they make them that big sometimes. 1 Quote

I too live in Belgium. The selection of Asian products is really limited here. But MyEUshop (I guess they are in the Netherlands, where most of Chinese products in the EU are dispatched from) also ships to Belgium. ? Quote

Everyone's first few messages have to be approved, to prevent spam showing up on the site.
