What's a good symbol of China, suitable for stickers, T-shirts, etc. that's not political?

This was a totem of 华夏 apparently; I'd say a stylised version would at least suggest China, there's one on the Baidu page I nicked that from: https://baike.baidu.com/item/华夏/5823?fr=aladdin. 神州 is the other common epithet.

I'd avoid the red flag and phrases like 中國夢 and 我愛中國 at all costs, and go for a 龍 design.
