外留者 Posted December 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM Report Posted December 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM I'm living with PTSD, with ADHD secondary to my PTSD. Under the circumstances, I am doing fairly well with my Mandarin studies. When I really need to I can take some legally prescribed stimulants to get the focus that I need to read learning material or listen to content. One thing I can't seem to get past is attaching the tones to the pronunciation of a word. I remember the pronunciation just fine. I always forget the tone, which has me speaking in a monotone. How do you remember tones? I am at the point where I can easily read about 2000 characters, but don't have the tones. Quote
