There's other decks with shanghainese, hokkien, cantonese, Thai, Vetnamese Very nice indeed. Thanks to LTL. Must have taken a considerable amount of time to prepare so many decks. @zhouhaochen
zhouhaochen Posted April 5, 2022 at 08:33 PM Report Share Posted April 5, 2022 at 08:33 PM Sorry, been in Singapore and super busy here, since they opened the borders for students to come. Thanks so much for the praise @Flickserve. Yes we spent quite a lot of time creating those LTL Anki decks. All feedback most welcome - we will continue to make more too, but would be good to know what people think We kept our whole team and all schools open all throughout the pandemic, but of course with almost no students. Stuff like this happens when you have a whole bunch of language nerds with not much to do.? We are building a Chinese pronounciation trainer and might just start teaching Korean in Seoul now because at least there you can go. Covid gave you a lot of free time if you happen to work in immersion language travel to China....
New Members SchoekSchiep Posted September 8, 2022 at 09:53 PM New Members Report Share Posted September 8, 2022 at 09:53 PM The decks are amazing! Thank you so much. The pinyin can be very strange though. The pinyin does not always match the audio. Can that be correct? Is the pinyin added later automatically ? @zhouhaochen
zhouhaochen Posted September 16, 2022 at 05:41 AM Report Share Posted September 16, 2022 at 05:41 AM @SchoekSchiep Thanks a lot for the comments on the Anki decks. We put a lot of work and effort into them I will pass on your praise to the team. Regarding the Pinyin, this is originally automatically generated through an algorithm, and then mistakes are fixed and adjusted (for example sometimes the system puts 呢 as "ni", so we change it to "ne" in all instances we can find). There are still some mistakes here and there, so if you have feedback on specific ones, we would be happy to fix and reupload as soon as possible. Feel free to write here or on our Anki support thread. Keep in mind that we have a bunch of other decks, both for Chinese Simplified and Traditional, as well as other languages, at different levels, which you can see here: https://flexiclasses.com/anki-decks-chinese/
