Hi there,

I have a work change, so I am thinking of recovering my Chinese I studied decades ago.

The goal is to find a regular job in a Chinese company or work as a translator to expand my skills with a distant shift maybe to medical translation.

The level now is in between HSK3-HSK4, was at around HSK5 approximately.

Time to finish the task - 3-6 months.

I do not want to discourage you, but HSK 5 is still years away from being a translator or functional at work.

I would suggest you start reading & listening to lots of simplified content (e.g. TheChairMansBao) and work your way up.
