Moki Posted March 30, 2022 at 02:40 AM Report Share Posted March 30, 2022 at 02:40 AM I'm looking for a way to take short audio clips and just drag and drop them into a word doc, cloud based word processor or anything like that so that they can be clicked on and listened to within the document. When I try searching this online, the search results are just flooded with things like "transcribe audio samples". Does anyone know of any program that can do this (preferably drag and drop/seamlessly)? It would be really useful for making study/teaching materials that include voice samples. Thanks in advance for your help!
Publius Posted March 30, 2022 at 04:09 AM Report Share Posted March 30, 2022 at 04:09 AM I just drag & dropped a mp3 audio clip into a Word document. It's not pretty, showing a big resizeable object with icon and filename, but certainly doable?

pon00050 Posted March 30, 2022 at 10:32 PM Report Share Posted March 30, 2022 at 10:32 PM Auphonic has a feature that you may be interested in taking a look at. Here is the blog post on that feature. I even recorded myself using this feature. EDIT: On Auphonic, once you click on the production that's done, you will see a section titled Transcript Editor. Click Correct and edit speech recognition results and you will see the same result. No need to go through all the steps that I showed in the video.
