Another 得 sentence

Hi.

Can someone explain the grammar behind the sentence 她住得离公司很远。If the translation is "She lives far away from the company" or "She lives from the company very far", why the Chinese way is not simply  她住离公司很远. Why the original sentence add the 得。

It is "verb 得 degree complement" structure. Quoting from below link, it is used when one intends to express how a verb happened or assess its quality:

<=>她住在一个离公司很远的地方(she live in someplace,which/where/that is far away from the company)

<==>她住在某处。那个地方离公司很远。(she live in someplace. the place is far away from the company)

她住离公司很远。

Chinese usually say it like that,if you say ,we(chinese) can till get it,but may cause an extra misunderstanding.

because it is 她住离公司,很远。(she moves away  ,out of the company,very far away)

what? Is she get troubles in company??
