By total chance, I just found another 状态形容词 in my book, after having made this post. It's 红扑扑

Posted

I'm not sure about What I often heard is 灰了吧唧 and sometimes 灰拉吧唧.

To help remembering, you can divide the list into different constructions, e.g.

1)AB

2)ABB

3)AABB

4)ABAB

5)ABCD, especially some common constructions like A不拉叽,A不溜丢(A不溜秋),A里CD,A了吧唧, etc.

6)ABAC

7)AABC

8)ABCC

Among the random books I've bought in China, is 重叠词训练大全, and it lists a whole bunch of words with the ABB structure:

Good you are learning these words. what is the method you are using to remember/Connect?

Without using them in the sentences will you able retain these words?

Good job! I think these words are extremely important as you move out of the realm of "Tarzan Chinese" into the world of richer adult language. Such words allow you to be more precise in conversation and in your writing.

These are just reference books---I don't study them.  I have a variety of other ways of studying (textbooks, tutors, etc.).
