becky82 Posted September 18, 2022 at 12:42 AM Report Posted September 18, 2022 at 12:42 AM Yesterday, I took a mock HSK6 exam (the official one at the chinesetest.cn website). This is probably one of the best preparation methods around. Thus I'm tempted to take the mock exam a few times. If I take the mock exam again today, say, will I get the exact same exam as I did yesterday? What happens if I repeatedly take chinesetest.cn mock exams in quick succession? (PS. if you want to practice, the story in the writing section was basically this blog post.) Quote
becky82 Posted September 20, 2022 at 06:26 AM Author Report Posted September 20, 2022 at 06:26 AM Well, I took the HSK6 mock exam on the chinesetest.cn website a second time, and it was a totally new exam. I'll probably use this method to prepare for the HSK6. 1 Quote
becky82 Posted September 25, 2022 at 06:56 AM Author Report Posted September 25, 2022 at 06:56 AM I kept doing this to see what would happen---see above. No 1, 2, 3, 4 above were done within the last few weeks (No 5 was my score back in March). Today's exam (No 1) was identical to No 3, so I took it a second time. It looks like I've basically "used up" this resource. It also seems they give me 65 on the writing section, no matter what. Importantly, once you submit your exam and get to the above screen, make sure to click 查看详情 before clicking 确定. If you click 查看详情, it lists your answers with the correct answers alongside: I don't think it's possible to get back to this screen once you click 确定 on the previous screen. Quote
