Joldo Mundus Posted October 10, 2005 at 08:09 PM Report Share Posted October 10, 2005 at 08:09 PM I read that '地' means '-ly' when pronounced 'de'. Does this mean that I can put it on the end of practically any adjective and make it an adverb?
gougou Posted October 11, 2005 at 01:00 AM Report Share Posted October 11, 2005 at 01:00 AM That's pretty much it. There are some exceptions, though: for example, monosyllabic adjectives in general do not take 地 (e.g. 快走). Again, there are exceptions to this rule as well
