New Members EllieS Posted January 20, 2023 at 06:59 AM New Members Report Posted January 20, 2023 at 06:59 AM Hi! I need to convert a Western date into the Chinese calendar and write it appropriately. The date is September 9, 2023. This is what I've got, and I just want to double check that it's right. The readers are Cantonese speakers so it has to be written the way they would in Hong Kong (just explaining because I don't think they write the year this way on the mainland): 公曆: 二零二三年 九月 九日 星期六 農曆: 癸卯年 七月 廿五日 星期六 Thanks for your help, and apologies if this is in the wrong place. New Members EllieS Posted January 24, 2023 at 12:34 AM Author New Members Report Posted January 24, 2023 at 12:34 AM Thank you!!! I used that site as a guide but I was so confused as to why it was the 7th lunar month, not the 8th, until I realized there's a leap month. ? In any case, many thanks for being a second set of eyes and confirming - I'm glad that I read the chart correctly and didn't mess it up! ? Quote
