Which of these translations for Karen do you like better?

A friend named Karen will be in Hong Kong for a while. She asked me to help with a translated name in case she needs one. Do you prefer 凱琳 or 碧琳? (I got the second one from this page - which was an interesting and amusing read. ?) I kind of like the first one because she has kind of a fiery personality and has persevered through a lot of personal struggles over the years, but the second one is quite pretty. There's also 楷雯, which is what American figure skater Karen Chen uses (she's Taiwanese).

Which do you like best, or would you suggest something else?

I saw some "online translators" give out things like 卡連 or 卡倫 but I had a lot of doubts about those.

Thanks for your help!
