Hoping I can get a few realistic name suggestions for a character in a book I'm writing. She's a Chinese woman born in Hong Kong who grew up in Canada. She's intelligent, serious, intimidating and looks androgynous. Generally a very intense and hard working person, but being in nature (particularly forests) softens her demeanor and brings her peace.

Thanks so much for any help!

Given that she was born in Hong Kong, where a lot of English is used and many people have an English name in addition to their Chinese name, and grew up in Canada, she probably uses an English given name exclusively. You can just pick an English name you think suits her.

For her surname you can consider Lam 林, a common Chinese surname meaning 'forest'.
