A friend of mine said they wanted to read Harry Potter in Chinese so I started processing the text and working on trying to generate vocabulary decks as accurately as possible. I’ve done it the same way that I did for The Bad Kids, and 《活着》, only with some improvements.

I’ve split the decks into chapters according to the audio originally posted on 网易云音乐 music.163, which it seems has since been taken down. Luckily I archived the audio for all seven books and would like to share this if it I’m allowed to.

Things that make this deck special/useful:

HSK equivalent vocab:
- e.g. 那 and 个 are both HSK 1, so when 那个 occurs as a word of it’s own, it’s counted as HSK 1 to reduce unnecessarily easy non-HSK words when studying decks that exclude HSK 1, and also give a better idea of difficulty. I've put together around 100 of these so far, I'll keep adding for better accuracy.
Names - names are counted as a separate kind of word and include vocabulary and English counterparts. I hope to include audio for every name in the future.
Words splits checked manually (sometimes automatically split text can be split in ways that are incorrect, meaning that the vocab might include words that aren’t actually in the text, or not including words that are)
