Is 有名不名 correct?

这个商场很有名不名?

BTW the structure for a 2-syllable word XY is "X不XY", not "XY不Y", and you can't use "很" with this structure. So even if we assume "不有" are acceptable together in this situation, it'd be "这个商场有不有名？" (Or less controversially:  "这个商场出不出名？")

 

It's a pretty fun structure as you can also use it with 2-syllable English loanwords. One I heard for the first time yesterday: “你觉得这个帽子fa不fashion?”

I'm not sure if it's grammatically correct, but it's definitely not idiomatically correct. You can say it in the following ways:

1. 这个商场有名吗？

2. 这个商场有不有名？

3. 这个商场有名不有名？

有不有名？or 有没有名？

The first one is not grammatically correct, but we do say it in daily life.

The second one is correct and common used.
