Chinese ecovillages and bamboo

I lived in China twice and now I am starting to plan another trip but now not focused in language but to study about bamboo and the ecovillages that China may have. Does anyone have good informations in this topics?

Have you tried contacting INBAR? They have been pretty active in China IIRC, might be able to visit some of their projects: International Bamboo and Rattan Organization | Bamboo & Rattan for inclusive and green development (inbar.int) I see there's this in Chishui: CHISHUI SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOODS | International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (inbar.int)
