Latvia on Google Maps

Long time ago I noticed that Latvia is almost the only country in the world written in traditional characters (拉脫維亞) on my google maps with simplified Chinese as default language. Other exceptions are Japanese place names, Hong Kong, Macau and to a lesser extent South Korea. Does anybody know if there is any reason for this? It doesn't bother me at all just feel curious about it.
