benjo Posted October 17, 2005 at 04:39 AM Report Posted October 17, 2005 at 04:39 AM I've heard there are places in Beijing where you can pay to practice the piano, but nobody seems to know where they are. Anyone know? Quote
gato Posted October 17, 2005 at 05:48 AM Report Posted October 17, 2005 at 05:48 AM Most places that sell pianos in Beijing probably also will have hourly rentals on site. There are two places by Minzu Daxue (民族大学 Central University for Nationalities) where you can rent a piano room for 10 yuans per hour. One is a piano store on Zhongguancun Nan Dajie near the bridge crossing across from the National Library. The other is on the small street just to the north of the Minzu Daxue campus, near the Weigongcun (魏公村) bus stop, on the second floor of a building next to a Manchu restaurant. I would recommend the latter because the rooms are slightly bigger and more comfortable. They are open from about 10am to 9pm seven days a week. Quote
