zglx Posted December 10, 2023 at 04:42 AM Report Posted December 10, 2023 at 04:42 AM I tried to introduce Chinese history to my children. But it is hard to find good, easy, and engaging books targeted toward kids. So I decided to write for my kids. I started with prehistoric times told in Chinese myths and legends. Those are the stories every Chinese knows in China. Here are a couple of stories. Please take a look and let me know your feedback. Spoiler 2 Quote
abcdefg Posted December 10, 2023 at 08:51 PM Report Posted December 10, 2023 at 08:51 PM Very nice! Hope your kids appreciate it. What age is the target audience? These might have broader appeal. A publisher might be interested. You are clearly an excellent writer. Quote

tobyiana Posted December 16, 2023 at 12:59 AM Report Posted December 16, 2023 at 12:59 AM I picked this up at the airport in the summer and read it over my (10 hour) flight: The Shortest History of China by Linda Jaivin | Waterstones Not too bad. Really struggle to remember the order of the dynasties however. Always get qi and qing mixed up ? 1 Quote
