Novelist Ba Jin dies

Ba Jin (巴金), the celebrated author of the 激流 (Torrent) trilogy, comprising the novels 家 (Family), 春 (Spring) and 秋 (Autumn), has died in Shanghai at the age of 100 (or 101 according to some sources):

Maybe it's a good idea to make 家 November's Book of the Month Club selection in his honor.

Unfortunately, I haven't read any of his works yet. I've heard they are quite good.
