What is written on this T-shirt? Thank you

I think the first two symbols combined means "lucky", but I would like confirmation, thank you very much and greetings from Spain.

Both are mirrored. 

 

Top one is 運. Could be "luck" in traditional Chinese but I'm guessing from context it's Japanese.

 

Bottom one is 運は天に在り (I think? Idk Japanese). Google translate says it means "luck is in heaven".

運は天に在り。This is a sentence of Classical Japanese. It's a well-known saying of UESUGI Kenshin上杉謙信,meaning "the destiny depends on the heaven (so it cannot be changed according to humans' wishes.)".
