Ok, so first for those who do not know: I have been on this forum for 15+ years and work for LTL.

 

This topic is for people to ask questions, give feedback or anything else related to LTL Mandarin School Chengdu.

 

History: LTL Mandarin School started in Beijing almost 20 years ago. LTL today has physical schools in Shanghai, Taipei, Singapore, Beihai, Saigon, Seoul, Tokyo and since this year also Chengdu.

We previously ran immersion programs in Chengdu, but stopped this now and built a full physical central school there. We still run full immersion programs in Chengde.

 

Location: We are very central downtown on Huaxing East Road. Google maps does not allow verifying business inside China anymore, so we cannot create a Google Maps listing for LTL Chengdu, however here is the link to the building we are in https://maps.app.goo.gl/d8HKcdUPS3nWKfDv7 

 

Classes: LTL offers both small group and 1on1 classes. All group classes are small. The average class size is 2-3 students.

 

Accommodation: LTL offers both shared apartments and homestay accommodation for its students. About 80% of our students choose to stay in a homestay.

Note: LTL homestays are reserved for LTL students only and you can only stay in an LTL homestay if you are a full time LTL Mandarin student.

 

Events: LTL Chengdu does loads of social events in Chengdu, usually lead by our school director Mandy and teacher Unicorn who is as much fun as her English language name 🤩.

 

Costs: All LTL programs (courses and accommodation) in Chengdu come at a 20% discount to LTL Beijing and Shanghai programs. The cost of study materials is included in the course price. There are no registration, accommodation finding or other fees.
