These are actually made last year, but I thought I'd still share.  Both are songs to help remember my dad and his generation of people:

This was the first time I tried to compose an arrangement such it is like a piano, where you can play two independent musical voices at the same time (melody and rhythm).  I had a lot of fun with the english translations, the goal was to make the english lyrics rhyme without losing too much of their original meaning, so that westerners can sing the same song in their own language.

musically, i jsut used basic chords to accompany the melody.  My western friends really enjoyed the lyrics, they're impressed by how relatable the narrative is to their lives, since so many have gone through at least one divorce.
