Desmond Posted October 28, 2005 at 09:53 PM Report Share Posted October 28, 2005 at 09:53 PM I'm learning about descriptive compliments, using 得 in sentences such as: 我们玩得很高兴 他高兴得跳了起来 那个孩子睡得很舒服 With the last one, I noticed that "睡" is dropped from 睡觉 My questions are, there are three sentence I have to make, and they are disyllabic: 打球 / 累 跳舞 / 高兴 看书 / 忘了时间 I'm having troubles making them... do I say 我打球的很累 or 我打球打得很累? same with the last two... don't know how to treat them as each verb has an object after it.... Thanks!

Desmond Posted October 29, 2005 at 04:59 AM Author Report Share Posted October 29, 2005 at 04:59 AM Thanks Skylee! I hope I'm not being intrusive, and feel free not to answer at all, but I have a few questions for ya. Have you been studying for quite a while now? Do you study in or outside of China/Taiwan? I ask cause you seem to know a fair bit of Chinese, and cause I'm so curious all the time! 谢谢你常常帮助我!
