amo Posted November 9, 2005 at 12:33 PM Report Posted November 9, 2005 at 12:33 PM Dear all. I am a shareholder in a company holding a US patent for a new technology Firewall system which don't only aoid you from being hacked but also catches the hacker. I know many software programs will be cracked and copied once on the Chinese market, but in this case they can ONLY copy the firewall but not the system that catches the hacker. I am thinking about setting up a retail store in Cheng Du to test this product on the Chinese market. We also have other products like: Filesearch program, CMS-solutions etc.... Can this be any good business if the price is right on the products?? Any advice? Quote
Quest Posted November 10, 2005 at 05:33 PM Report Posted November 10, 2005 at 05:33 PM Any software attempt in China will be risky. If you can think of a way to get the local government or other big business to buy your product in large quantities, you might have a shot. I would say forget about the consumer walkin market...
