Gaming/Gambling industry in China.

I know there is many sites offering games online in China. BUT then it is GAMES OF SKILLS.

How and when do YOU think it will be allowed to promote gaming/gambling sites with real money stakes in China.

I know they are talking about legalizing casino's in China, but I do not have a clue of any timeframe for it to happen.

I am asking this because I am moving to China in January and my head is full with business ideas. I am a shareholder in a big gaming/gambling provider site which offers: Games of skill, Poker, Casino, Sportsbetting, Lottery and more.

Any advice would be helpfull.

Post here or email me at gii@in.no

Regards

Casinos are legal (and regulated) in the Macao Special Administrative Region of China.

Hi Skylee.

Tanks for your reply. I am aware of the Macau area, but I am thinking of China Mainland as I will settle down in Cheng Du from January and onwards.

Not in the forseeable future. Even in the US, casinos are illegal in most states. Online casinos are worse, since they are usually based in other countries and don't pay tax.
