Outofin Posted November 14, 2005 at 09:23 PM Report Posted November 14, 2005 at 09:23 PM Got an error message saying "Unable to move/copy file". I'm sure the picture's size and format was good. Quote
necroflux Posted November 15, 2005 at 12:41 AM Report Posted November 15, 2005 at 12:41 AM Yeah, this hasn't been working on this board for a while. Roddy responded with: Yes. I'm ignoring it until real life gets boring. Quote
roddy Posted November 15, 2005 at 01:53 AM Report Posted November 15, 2005 at 01:53 AM Try now, should be ok. This is connected to the file upload issue which has crippled the attachments system. I think that may be fixed now too, but unfortunately all previous attachments are currently in some kind of limbo. I'm going to leave attachments disabled until I figure out how to get them back. Roddy EDIT: Actually it may just be easier to abandon previous attachments - would be a shame, but a lot of them are audio files which I now can't host anyway, as they're too big, and photos which aren't vital. Would let me get attachments up and running a lot quicker. . . Quote
nipponman Posted November 15, 2005 at 02:36 AM Report Posted November 15, 2005 at 02:36 AM Would you be able to host future audio files? Quote
roddy Posted November 15, 2005 at 02:57 AM Report Posted November 15, 2005 at 02:57 AM Within limits, yes. Anything up to 1MB should be fine, which is plenty for a decent quality mp3 of spoken voice and more than enough for docs / images. Anything larger than that, and you're either going to have to find somewhere else to host it, or persuade me it's worth my while to upload it manually. Roddy Quote
necroflux Posted November 15, 2005 at 04:27 AM Report Posted November 15, 2005 at 04:27 AM Thanks Roddy. Quote
