Anyone can understand this? written by 汤显祖

I believe there are many of you here who are pretty good in chinese literature. I have been watching this opera written by Tang Xian Zu 汤显祖 of Ming Dynasty. The chinese used in this opera is really 深涩, so, i can't understand some of the lines well. Hopefully someone can help me.

First, I will introduce the character, 杜丽娘.

常观诗词乐府，古之女子，因春感情，遇秋成恨，诚不谬误矣。吾今年已二八，未逢折

桂之夫；忽慕春情，怎得蟾宫之客？昔韩夫人得遇于郎，张生偶逢崔氏，曾有《题红记》、《崔

徽传》二书。此佳人才子，前以密约偷期，后皆得成秦晋。（长叹介）吾生于宦族，长在名门。

年已及笄，不得早成佳配，诚为虚度青春，光阴如过隙耳。（泪介）可惜妾身颜色如花，岂料

命如一叶乎！

After saying the above lines, she sang the below portion.

没乱里春情难遣，蓦地里怀人幽怨。则为俺生小婵娟，拣名门一例、一例里

神仙眷。甚良缘，把青春抛的远！俺的睡情谁见？则索因循腼腆。想幽梦谁边，和春光暗流

转？迟延，这衷怀那处言！淹煎，泼残生，除问天！身子困乏了，且自隐几面眠。

Anyone can explain what the above means? what is 拣名门一例、一例里

神仙眷? 迟延? 淹煎? I really don't get her.

37、没乱里：形容心绪很乱。

38、腼腆：害羞。上文只索，只得。索，要，须。

39、淹煎，泼残生：淹煎，受熬煎，遭磨折；泼残生，苦命儿。泼，表示厌恶，原

来是骂人的话。

40、隐几：靠着几案。

还是丽娘的问题，问得也挺妙，不过丽娘有一个更妙的答案可不能不提呀。

I tried to explain this part to a foreign friend but i realized that it is so difficult to interpret the exact same feelings in english. My friend don't find this excerpt touching. -_-"
