woliveri Posted November 25, 2005 at 08:02 PM Report Posted November 25, 2005 at 08:02 PM Hi all, Going to be in Shanghai early next year and need info regarding practicing qigong in the parks. I'm not sure of the atmosphere these days and I don't want to be hauled off to jail for practicing qigong in the park. Can anyone tell me what I can and can't do so as to keep me out of trouble? I will most likely be practicing some form of Zhan Zhuang standing qigong. TIA, bill Quote
geraldc Posted November 26, 2005 at 12:13 AM Report Posted November 26, 2005 at 12:13 AM Loads of people do qigong in the parks, especially old retired people early in the morning. However they all seem to do the same patterns, so you may stick out if you do your own thing. If you really want to fit in, try jogging backwards. Quote
