Recording Classes in China

Has anyone tried voice recording Chinese Language classes in China? In the US I've found it's not a problem but don't know about China. Would language teachers in China have a problem with this?

Whereever it is, I think the best way is to ask the teacher involved first. Many won't say no but I guess that some will feel uneasy.
