I think 误点 is pretty standard mandarin, and makes more sense since 误 is a verb and 晚 is an adjective. 耽误了钟点 makes sense, 晚了点......hmmm

My experience is that you can almost only hear 晚点 in all the train stations in mainland. Just my experience anyway, and I think it really dosen't matter which one you'd like use since people can understand both.

By the way, the discussion now seems somewhat irrelevant to the topic of the thread?:-?
