Some people would read U2 as '/ju:/ er' instead of 'U two'. Most people (including me) would read F1 as '/ef/ yi' instead of 'F one'. And my lecturer read B+Tree as '/bi:/ jia /tri:/' instead of 'B plus tree'. Quote
