Hi,

Perhaps you should give more context of what you were trying to say "you make me sad", because the expressions in Chinese may be different in different situations you use that sentence.

you make me sad - "ni rang wo shengqi"

sad is not shengqi. Shengqi is mad or angry. Sad can be interpreted as 難過 nan2 guo4, 傷心 shang1 xin1, literally. As I said, it will be expressed differently according to the contexts you use it.:)

usually "ni rang wo shengqi" means you make me angry. you can use "nan guo" or "nan shou" instead of "shengqi" . or just say "wo hen nan shou"

"ni rang wo shengqi"

...means, "you make me mad"

asdicarlo, can you read pinyin romanization? Or do you need an anglacized version?

More context would be good, but in the meantime: ni3 rang4 wo3 (gan3dao4) bei1shang1
