self-taught-mba Posted January 3, 2006 at 08:01 AM Report Posted January 3, 2006 at 08:01 AM Wow what a sweet guy Here's the process: Find a song you like (Baidu is a good start or just ask someone to write the name of one down) Go to Baidu.com Download song Download Lyrics Paste into NJSTAR, Wenlin or AdsoTrans (I prefer NJSTAR for this particular task) In NJSTAR Highlight hanzi >tools> convert hanzi to pinyin> pick options Sing away Or there are those apparently on this board like to do it the traditional way. If you are one of them: First get someone to write down the characters copy the characters by hand repeat up till 50 times or until you have them memorized look up each character by hand in a dictionary using the stroke order method hand transcribe the pinyin you find in the dictionary back to paper realize that using pinyin is really a shortcut and you should just work harder, so hand transcribe them back to characters sing the song from the characters (I'm been a little facetious here, kind of a private joke from another thread but somebody will get it ) Good luck, Quote
self-taught-mba Posted January 3, 2006 at 08:40 AM Report Posted January 3, 2006 at 08:40 AM OK here is a good one and relatively easy. The name of the song is: [pop=mouse/lǎoshǔ]老鼠[/pop][pop=loves/ài]爱[/pop][pop=rice/dàmǐ]大米[/pop] HOVER OVER TO SEE PINYIN This is a very common song that also regarded as a very sweet song but is also relatively easy. I sang it on New Year's Eve, in public, in a bar, as I was very drunk Also, this can be a great way to learn and can be a lot of fun for you!! By the time you figure out the song you get a great sense of satisfaction. For this, Wenlin would be best because of the speed in which it can give you the translation/pinyin. This allows you to sing along at normal speed and look up things when you forget them. Pinyin out put from NJSTAR (note: occasionally has some problems because certain words have more than one pinyin, look up the word, put it in context and choose accordingly to resolve any ambiguity): 我 听 见 你 的 声 音 wǒ tīng jiàn nǐ de shēng yīn 有 种 特 别 的 感 觉 yǒu zhòng tè bié de gǎn jué 让 我 不 断 想 不 敢 再 忘 记 你 ràng wǒ bù duàn xiǎng bù gǎn zài wàng jì nǐ 我 记 得 有 一 个 人 wǒ jì de yǒu yī gè rén 永 远 留 在 我 心 中 yǒng yuǎn liú zài wǒ xīn zhōng 哪 怕 只 能 够 这 样 的 想 你 nǎ pà zhī néng gòu zhè yàng de xiǎng nǐ 如 果 真 的 有 一 天 rú guǒ zhēn de yǒu yī tiān 爱 情 理 想 会 实 现 ài qíng lǐ xiǎng huì shí xiàn 我 会 加 倍 努 力 好 好 对 你 永 远 wǒ huì jiā bèi nǔ lì hǎo hǎo duì nǐ yǒng yuǎn 不 改 变 bù gǎi biàn 不 管 路 有 多 么 远 bù guǎn lù yǒu duō mo yuǎn 一 定 会 让 它 实 现 yī dìng huì ràng tā shí xiàn 我 会 轻 轻 在 你 耳 边 对 你 说( wǒ huì qīng qīng zài nǐ ěr biān duì nǐ shuō 对 你 说) duì nǐ shuō 我 爱 你 爱 著 你 wǒ ài nǐ ài zhù nǐ 就 像 老 鼠 爱 大 米 jiù xiàng lǎo shǔ ài dà mǐ 不 管 有 多 少 风 雨 我 都 会 依 然 bù guǎn yǒu duō shǎo fēng yǔ wǒ dū huì yī rán 陪 著 你 péi zhù nǐ 我 想 你 想 著 你 wǒ xiǎng nǐ xiǎng zhù nǐ 不 管 有 多 么 的 苦 bù guǎn yǒu duō mo de kǔ 只 要 能 让 你 开 心 我 什 么 都 愿 zhī yào néng ràng nǐ kāi xīn wǒ shén mo dōu yuàn 意 yì 这 样 爱 你 zhè yàng ài nǐ 我 听 见 你 的 声 音 wǒ tīng jiàn nǐ de shēng yīn 有 种 特 别 的 感 觉 yǒu zhòng tè bié de gǎn jué 让 我 不 断 想 不 敢 再 忘 记 你 ràng wǒ bù duàn xiǎng bù gǎn zài wàng jì nǐ 我 记 得 有 一 个 人 wǒ jì de yǒu yī gè rén 永 远 留 在 我 心 中 yǒng yuǎn liú zài wǒ xīn zhōng 哪 怕 只 能 够 这 样 的 想 你 nǎ pà zhī néng gòu zhè yàng de xiǎng nǐ 如 果 真 的 有 一 天 rú guǒ zhēn de yǒu yī tiān 爱 情 理 想 会 实 现 ài qíng lǐ xiǎng huì shí xiàn 我 会 加 倍 努 力 好 好 对 你 永 远 wǒ huì jiā bèi nǔ lì hǎo hǎo duì nǐ yǒng yuǎn 不 改 变 bù gǎi biàn 不 管 路 有 多 么 远 bù guǎn lù yǒu duō mo yuǎn 一 定 会 让 它 实 现 yī dìng huì ràng tā shí xiàn 我 会 轻 轻 在 你 耳 边 对 你 说( wǒ huì qīng qīng zài nǐ ěr biān duì nǐ shuō 对 你 说) duì nǐ shuō 我 爱 你 爱 著 你 wǒ ài nǐ ài zhù nǐ 就 像 老 鼠 爱 大 米 jiù xiàng lǎo shǔ ài dà mǐ 不 管 有 多 少 风 雨 我 都 会 依 然 bù guǎn yǒu duō shǎo fēng yǔ wǒ dū huì yī rán 陪 著 你 péi zhù nǐ 我 想 你 想 著 你 wǒ xiǎng nǐ xiǎng zhù nǐ 不 管 有 多 么 的 苦 bù guǎn yǒu duō mo de kǔ 只 要 能 让 你 开 心 我 什 么 都 愿 zhī yào néng ràng nǐ kāi xīn wǒ shén mo dōu yuàn 意 yì 这 样 爱 你 zhè yàng ài nǐ 我 爱 你 爱 著 你 wǒ ài nǐ ài zhù nǐ 就 像 老 鼠 爱 大 米 jiù xiàng lǎo shǔ ài dà mǐ 不 管 有 多 少 风 雨 我 都 会 依 然 bù guǎn yǒu duō shǎo fēng yǔ wǒ dū huì yī rán 陪 著 你 péi zhù nǐ 我 想 你 想 著 你 wǒ xiǎng nǐ xiǎng zhù nǐ 不 管 有 多 么 的 苦 bù guǎn yǒu duō mo de kǔ 只 要 能 让 你 开 心 我 什 么 都 愿 zhī yào néng ràng nǐ kāi xīn wǒ shén mo dōu yuàn 意 yì 这 样 爱 你 zhè yàng ài nǐ Original lyrics for manipulation: 老鼠爱大米 我听见你的声音 有种特别的感觉 让我不断想不敢再忘记你 我记得有一个人 永远留在我心中 哪怕只能够这样的想你 如果真的有一天 爱情理想会实现 我会加倍努力好好对你永远不改变 不管路有多么远 一定会让它实现 我会轻轻在你耳边对你说(对你说) 我爱你爱着你 就像老鼠爱大米 不管有多少风雨我都会依然陪着你 我想你想着你 不管有多么的苦 只要能让你开心我什么都愿意 这样爱你 我听见你的声音 有种特别的感觉 让我不断想不敢再忘记你 我记得有一个人 永远留在我心中 哪怕只能够这样的想你 如果真的有一天 爱情理想会实现 我会加倍努力好好对你永远不改变 不管路有多么远 一定会让它实现 我会轻轻在你耳边对你说(对你说) 我爱你爱着你 就像老鼠爱大米 不管有多少风雨我都会依然陪着你 我想你想着你 不管有多么的苦 只要能让你开心我什么都愿意 这样爱你 我爱你爱着你 就像老鼠爱大米 不管有多少风雨我都会依然陪着你 我想你想着你 不管有多么的苦 只要能让你开心我什么都愿意 这样爱你 Quote
