What would be an equivalent phrase in English of 想到这里?

Some examples I found on a google search:

想到这里，小宝才觉得还是国内好 source

I think you can often omit it. For example (example culled from Google)

她一度几乎下定了决心要去问他，但是问起这件事不免又要有多少别扭，想到这里，她便把这个主意暂时搁了下来。

It doesn't really give you anything beyond a slightly more explicit cause > effect relationship. In English an 'and' or 'so' would suffice. If it had to include it I'd probably say 'thinking about this, she decided to . . ', but I'd prefer to drop it.

'Thinking about / considering this' is the closest equivalent I can think of, but I doubt you'd use that very often.

There I was getting all excited thinking I knew the answer Xiang Dao Zhe Li... would like to go inside or something but doh, the compound character thing strikes and after checking on wenlin its something like "thinking of here"... but my translation skills are incredibly minimal at the moment...

just to be naughty, this can also mean "would like to come here"

他想到這裡(來)。 ta1 xiang3 dao4 zhe4 li3 (lai2) "He wants to come here."
