Chest infection??

If I'm trying to explain to someone that I've just got over a severe chest infection, can I use 胸膛病? I've tried looking up words like infection in my dictionaries but keep coming up with something that sounds too much like an infectious disease >.<

It's actually only role-play for an exam i have soon but I don't wanna make out to my teacher that I had sars or anything O_o
