Second hand laptops.

Howdy,

Wheres the best place to look for a 2nd hand laptop in BJ?

Just took a look at ThatsBJ and I saw this

It's not as god as you think. You have to consider many things here:

First it's a NEC and NEC isn't really famous for building Latops it's more like MSI building some cheap ones for the asian market.

Then there's the "ingredients":

You have a P4 2.2 which is not a mobile CPU and so takes so much power, that mobility won't be anything to consider with this Laptop.

Then you don't have an Intelchipset but one from ATI with integrated graphics, those aren't supossed to be very good.

Then you have to minor deficits, one is the 40 GB (small) HDD and the other one is "only" a CD Burner with DVD reading function.

The new price for this laptop on the chinese market is below 10.000,- yuan so a price of 5.500 for a 15 month old one (even if including some extras like a WLAN Card) is reasonable.

The price seems reasonable but with something like this, you better see it (& touch it ) before you buy. It doesn't have to be a scam (doesn't look that way either) to cause disappointment.
