I realize it wont be popular there, but i doubt if it hasnt turned up somewhere. Can anyone help me? Once you are in Taipei you can check out the Jazz bars (the ones I know are "Blue Note" and "TU"). There're a number of bars all concentrated around Shi-Da (Taiwan Normal University), either on Shi-Da Road or Roosevelt Road. Hope this helps. There is a quite big Jazz festival each year in Beijing called Midi Jazz Festival.
