Helen Bothwell Posted January 9, 2006 at 11:10 PM Report Posted January 9, 2006 at 11:10 PM Hi Josh There are several jazz bars in Taipei and many places have jazz nights just about every week. Have a look of the links below, try to download the music: http://www.jazzinvention.com/bbs/index.php?showtopic=22 http://www.ms333.com/Movie%20Html/movie%20list%201.htm There used to the Taipei Jazz Festival but I'm not sure if itis still going. Once you are in Taipei you can check out the Jazz bars (the ones I know are "Blue Note" and "TU"). There're a number of bars all concentrated around Shi-Da (Taiwan Normal University), either on Shi-Da Road or Roosevelt Road. Hope this helps. Helen Quote
painkillermag Posted January 14, 2006 at 10:57 AM Report Posted January 14, 2006 at 10:57 AM I think Jazz is more popular in Shanghai. There is a quite big Jazz festival each year in Beijing called Midi Jazz Festival. This year it will be on the 1st til 4th of May previously in Haidian Park together with Midi-Rock Festival. www.midimidi.cn Quote
